My original heavy use blade! This ComSAR features super stout powdered metallurgy steel that is convex ground before a small secondary edge is added for easier sharpening. It makes for an extremely tough blade that still cuts excellent. Don't let the smaller stature confuse, it is one of the toughest knives I make!
This knife has removable scales to access an internal storage area for survival items. Waxed fire tinder and jute twine included but the compartment could be configured to carry multiple different items like a button compass and mini fishing kit.
The scales are blasted natural linen micarta for a tough, secure grip. They are removable to access the internal storage area. The knife rides securely in a kydex sheath and can be configured for multiple carry options.
